We're hanging siding on the house. Everywhere there's siding (vinyl or not) is being replaced with HardiPlank. This stuff is great. Easy to cut, easy to hang, looks great. Only drawback is that it causes cancer if you breathe the dust as you cut. Anyway, no pain no gain. Enjoy the pics. (Hover over to read a caption, and click on them to view larger picture.)

Wonderful invention, these blogs are...and some updates

After just now realizing I have to accept comments after they have been posted, I actually like this blogging system. Thanks for reading this blog no one knows about, you three commenters.
Anyways...
I do have a few updates. We have finished the fence, or at least got to a stopping point. So then we decided to do replace the siding on the house.... Here's a compilation picture.
Interesting experience. I pity the men who do this for a living...
I guess it wasn't so bad, but it did take us a couple days to finish the few walls we started. Still, we have a lot to finish (and to start) but we are getting there. I believe in the next coming months we will start looking for a new house. Pray for us! --- Michael
